Social Status Apps Inc. — Dover, Delaware

Status is earned, not shown.

We are a Delaware software company building social apps for iOS where who you are is what you do — not what you look like, and not what you paid for.

01 Who we are

Standing should be earned, not inherited from a photograph.

SOCIAL STATUS APPS INC. is a Delaware software company. We design and engineer social applications for mobile — a small team, unreasonable standards, built for the App Store.

We think online communities work when standing is earned through contribution: turning up, adding something, playing well, being someone the room is glad to see. Not through appearance. Not through follower counts. Not through whoever bought the most reach this week.

That belief is not marketing — it is the specification. Every product decision we make answers one question first: what does this community reward? Because whatever it rewards is what it will eventually become.

02 The first title — in development

An avatar-first social world for iOS, where your standing opens doors.

You arrive as a character rather than a photograph. What you contribute builds a standing that travels with you, and that standing is a key — to rooms, to company, to play. It is in active development for iPhone, and it is coming to the App Store.

03 What we build

Four ideas, in every product we ship.

They are not features so much as the physics of the places we make: identity you choose, standing you earn, rooms that standing opens, and play that happens inside the conversation.

01

Avatar-first identity

No selfies required. You pick a character and it represents you everywhere — identity without a camera roll, without the ranking of faces, and without the pressure to look like anything in particular. Choosing an avatar is not the same as disappearing: your standing follows you, so the person behind the character is still accountable for what they do.

Identity you choose — and still answer for.

02

Standing you earn

Reputation accrues from what you actually do: contributing, showing up, playing well. It is slow to build, quick to lose, and it cannot simply be bought outright.

03

Rooms your standing opens

Standing works like a key. A community can set the bar for entry, so everyone in a conversation has earned their place in it — and behaves like it.

04

Social play, woven in

Games sit inside the conversation rather than beside it — a table you talk across, where a hand played well is worth as much socially as it is on the scoreboard. Play is one of the honest ways to earn standing, because it is hard to fake being good company for very long.

Played for standing and for fun — never for real-money wagering.

04 Trust & safety

A place worth earning standing in has to be worth being in.

Anonymity without accountability produces exactly what you would expect. Our answer is to make standing itself an accountability mechanism: it is attached to how you behave, it is visible to the people around you, and it takes far longer to build than it does to lose.

The rest is the unglamorous work — moderation, reporting, clear rules, and enforcing them. We would rather over-invest there than explain later why we did not.

Built for adults — 17+

  1. 01

    Proactive moderation

Automated systems screen content as it is created; human reviewers handle escalations, appeals, and the judgement calls software should not be trusted to make alone.

  2. 02

    Reporting and blocking

Reporting and blocking belong in every conversation and on every profile — a tap or two away, with no dead ends and no form to go hunting for.

  3. 03

    Community standards

Published rules about what is not welcome — harassment, threats, sexual content involving minors, spam, impersonation — enforced against standing and access, not just against individual messages.

  4. 04

    Designed for adults

Our apps are designed, gated and rated for users aged 17 and over. Age rating is a design constraint we start from, not a box we tick at submission.

  5. 05

    No real-money gambling

Games in our apps are played for in-app standing and for fun. There is no real-money wagering, no betting against the house, and nothing to cash out.

Every community becomes what it rewards.

So we build the rewards first, and we make them worth earning. Everything else — the interface, the rooms, the games — is downstream of that one decision.
